Q: For a beginner setting with one valve installed, which is the preferred valve installation direction – restrict air in or restrict air out?
A: For beginners, we recommend restricting “air in”.
Q: Does this require you to buy filters?
A: No, the valves are included. Keep in mind this mask does not offer any air filtering – it does not clean air.
Q: Is it really one size fits all?

Q: What is the highest altitude the mask can be adjusted to?
A: It can be adjusted up to 18,000 ft altitude using two valves and both levers on level 4.

Q: Are the masks latex-free?
A: Yes, our mask is latex-free.
Q: Is there a way to make the air stop pushing up out of the nose guard?
A: It should make a decent seal and should not vent near your nose. Please reposition the mask by adjusting the position of the headband. Slightly move the mask down and the headband higher. Please contact support if you still have problems.
Q: Can I sleep with the mask on?
A: No, we do not recommend you to sleep with Workout Mask on.

Please follow our washing instructions for the best results and longevity.
Washing
• You may machine wash your mask sleeve, but hand washing is recommended and may help extend the life of the sleeve
• Machine wash in cold/cool water (~ 86°F), using the gentle or delicate cycle setting. Mesh washing bag is recommended
• Clean inside of the mask with a damp cloth
Drying
• Do not dry sleeve in a dryer, this can compromise the fabric
Warranty
Your Sparthos product is covered by a free from manufacturing defects warranty for 12 months. Normal wear and tear during the usage of the product is not considered a defect.
